NXT USA has appointed Eric Withee to support brand development, ingredient innovation, and strategic account growth.

Withee has an MS in nutrition and is an expert in natural products, ingredient commercialization, and science communication. He most recently was director of ingredient innovation at Freemen Nutra Group, where he identified and developed novel, science-backed ingredients in collaboration with global partners, helping translate complex research into market-ready value propositions.

At NXT USA, Withee will play a central role in accelerating the company’s innovation pipeline and strengthening its position as a leader in clinically substantiated ingredients. His responsibilities will include evaluating and developing new ingredients, building brands, and providing support for key customer accounts.

“Eric is one of those rare operators who lives at the intersection of science and storytelling,” said Eric Anderson, managing director of NXT USA. “He understands how to take meaningful clinical data and turn it into something that truly moves the market.”

Withee began his career working with OptiMSM, and has been focused on branded and specialty ingredients, and communicating scientific information. He has developed, conducted, and authored multiple research studies, applying his background in both natural medicine and clinical research to guide ingredient innovation and positioning.

At NXT USA, he will contribute to the expansion of the company’s marketing and technical operations, developing infographics, presentations, and scientific position papers designed to support brand partners and formulators.

“NXT USA is building something special: highly effective ingredients supported by compelling research focused on helping brands stand out in a crowded market,” said Withee. “I’m excited to help identify and uncover areas of value and to communicate that value in ways that resonate with our customers and with consumers.”

Withee holds advanced degrees in nutrition and integrative medicine research from the National University of Natural Medicine, the oldest naturopathic medical school in North America.
